My favorite book is The Way of Kings. That series seems the best written and most refined out of all of them, in my opinion, and even though it was the longest I finished it faster than Mistborn and Elantris.

I don’t think i can decide between kaladin or wayne. Kaladin because he’s awesome and honourable and youknow, stormblessed. But wayne is possibly the best character written in literary history. I’ve bever laughed at a character so much.

This is almost like picking my favorite child….I think my favorite book of his would be Elantris because it was my first book of his right after it was initially released. Favorite character………….I think it is a tie between Vin, Kelsier, Kaladin, and the ever elusive Hoid.

By far, my favorite character of Sanderson’s is Dalinar from The Stormlight Archive series. I love how conflicted he is about his dreams and how he struggles to be the one honorable person surrounded by dishonorable men.

My favorite Sanderson character has always been Vin. The climax in the well of ascension is essentially the most heroic book moment ever.

While I’m really enjoying the way of kings, I think my favorite would still have to be the final empire. It’s a fantastic book written in an intriguing universe that I like a little more than roshar in TWOK

I go back and forth between pretty much all of the Stormlight characters. Szeth is up there consistently, as is Dalinar.

My favorite Sanderson book is the Way of Kings. It’s what got me hooked on the fantasy genre. Wayne is my favorite character. He’s probably the funniest character Sanderson has written, and he still feels almost real.

Favorite novel has to be a tie between Way of Kings and Words of Radiance. Shadows for Silence in the Forests of Hell is such an incredible short story too.

My favorite character has to be Kelsier from the first Mistborn trilogy.

Well my favourite character would have to be Kelsier. The reason for this is, i see Kelsier as the person i would like to become one day. When i read about him , i understood him as an honourable man, a good leader, a good friend, a man who does what’s right, a man that will sacrifice himself for the good of those he loves and a very brave person. These are all traits that i would love to have as a part of me and that’s why i love Kelsier so much. I rly identified with him for those reasons and i just love how badass he is.

My favourite story would probably be The Emperor’s Soul. Just a very well done story with likable characters. I found myself wishing it were longer.

As for favourite characters… I’m in the middle of SteelHeart and I’m finding David to be pretty entertaining, especially with how he cannot make a good analogy to save his own life. I also rather liked Spook’s character arc in Hero of Ages and learning about the Lord Ruler in Hero of Ages made me pretty interested in finding out more about him as well. I think I’m going to pick the Lord Ruler because he’s the character I want to learn more about the most. He was certainly not a good person but it feels like he has a lot more depth to his character than what we from the original trilogy.

My favorite Sanderson book is undoubtedly The Emperor’s Soul. The seal-based magic system is super imaginative, while being intuitive and lending itself to a compelling, original plot concept.

I think my favourite Sanderson book would have to be the first one I read, Mistborn. I was hooked immediately, probably because of how much of a departure it was from “traditional” fantasy.

My favorite Sanderson character is Dalinar Kholin. He’s a great dead, a man of honor, and a total badass. The way he takes on the Cavernfiend? That was a great segment in Way of Kings. Now I can’t wait to read Oathbringer since he’s the flashback character for it.

My favorite book is Words of Radiance, it is just so well made and exciting. I read a lot of fantasy but that book really stands out. I kept bringing it up in conversation so much that a few friends had no choice but to start the series. Those friends have also recruited several people each as well. The world building, characters, and overall story is wonderfully captivating.

I really like Lightsong though, “I think i must have been a detective” too funny.

Choosing a favorite character was tough! In the end, it came down to a toss up between Kelsier, Wayne, Sazed, Kaladin, Shall an, Waxillium, Spook, and Dalinar. In the end, I decided on Wayne for his bargaining technique! Favorite book(s) was easier. I like Words of Radiance best!

Horrible question! When asked for my favorite books, I always say everything by Brandon Sanderson so that I don’t have to choose just one (and so it doesn’t take every spot on the list). I’d have to say my favorite book is Words of Radiance, just because it inspires me so completely. But really, all of his books I’ve read are amazing.

How does one choose a favorite? There are so many amazing characters, and Sanderson is so good at making you feel like you’re living the story that the characters become like family or friends. I have to say, I absolutely love Vin. Mistborn is the first series I read so she stands out to me. But also, there are so many characters I love from the Stormlight Archives. Syl is fun, I like Wit alot as well, and of course Kaladin. It’s hard to choose just one! If I HAD to pick I guess I’d say Vin because she is the character that had me absolutely hooked on Sanderson.
